I walked into the beautiful Second City Church in Harrisburg, PA, where I soon saw Steve. When I asked him how he was doing (I was probably the first of many to ask that same, exact question), he looked at me, smiled, and said: “Actually, I’m doing ok!” He wasn’t nervous or scared or worried. Without a doubt, this day was the day that he would be married (finally, his parents would say!) to the love of his life – to the one woman that would soon be his wife. My wife and I were having a conversation with some friends about whether photographing weddings ever gets boring. I have to say this: I never get tired or bored of witnessing two people who are very much in love join together to have God and their closest friends and family bless their union. I witnessed this with two people who I knew individually as friends before they got married, but have only gotten cooler now that they are together as one in marriage! Steve and Heather, thank you for the honor of photographing your wedding!
I hope you enjoy some of my favorite photos from the day:
Heather and Steve opted to see each other before the wedding. Some really awesome moments happened…
Worship during the ceremony… listening to “Be Thou My Vision” echo throughout the church was incredible!
A prayer of blessing… very, very, powerful!
The kiss…
After the wedding smiles…
In a secret location close to the reception…
