This past weekend summer decided it wasn’t quite finished and gave us one of the warmest October days in my memory. The warm weather didn’t do anything to stop Kelly and Ryan from enjoying their beautiful day at the incredibly scenic Lauxmont Farms. I have to say, Kelly and Ryan treated me like family from the moment I showed up to take pictures. Ryan’s dad showed me video of his recent trip to Alaska, complete with close encounters with grizzly bears! The video led into an one of the more interesting pre-wedding conversations I’ve ever had, with Ryan and his groomsmen all describing their best strategy to outwit a grizzly bear if they were confronted. I knew this was going to be a fun wedding party.
As the limo containing Kelly and her bridesmaids pulled up, I watched as Ryan’s demeanor changed. He was about to see his bride for the first time, and they were about ready to get married. Talk of grizzly bears ended as I watched Ryan turn into a teddy bear as he turned to see Kelly.
Kelly, for her part, did an excellent job at melting Ryan’s heart…
Ryan and Kelly separated for the ceremony – this is Kelly just before she walked down the aisle with her dad.
A sideways glance at one the bridesmaids during the ceremony.
I love the colors here…
A gorgeous location for the ceremony…
After the ceremony, we took a little walk.
The light was simply spectacular.
The decorations at the reception were very classy.
Love this great idea!
Kelly and Ryan, thanks for an awesome time! Best wishes for your future together!
